Salary of an Airline Pilot

There is I believe a great mistaken belief relating to what the actual figure of what an Airline Pilot Salary actually is, and I want to dispel the idea in this article that all pilots earn a large salary. Now while a senior Captain working for a major airline can earn around two hundred and fifty thousand bucks each year this is in the top bracket of incomes and pilots in regional airlines and general aviation earn much less than this figure.

While there are numerous different career paths that a pilot can take in order to achieve a job with a top level airline it is normally a long a hard road requiring plenty of difficult work and endurance.
