Even Santa Needs An Alarm Clock

Monday, August 16th, 2010 | Product Reviews

There may well be no need to be afraid, but even in the festive season there’s still a need to get out of bed. We’ve all tried to find alarm clocks in the past that not only give us the time, but that are also fun and make good gifts. It could be for your indolent teen who appears to regard the middle of the afternoon as the “morning” or maybe for the breadwinner in your household as a reminder to get their sorry selves out into the world of commerce and bring home the Christmas turkey.

This type of giftscan extend their usefulness into in the New Year as well, making sure you make that that job interview on time. Now, alarm clocks are designed to be alarming (clue’s in the name) but they should really be annoying and loud and you should hate them. But there’s not necessarily any reason Boys toys like these can’t be a lot of fun either! So let’s have a look at one of the best fun alarm clocks around this year, with the amazing Flying Alarm Clock.

This could very well be the perfect gifts for him as it has all the functionality of a regular clock but has a unique alarm function with an added twist. The sharper tools in the box may have already guessed what that might be, guided by the name of the device. Once the alarm sounds, a small propeller-led ball situated on top of the clock begins to spin. It then takes off skywards and fliers around the room, to the soundtrack of an extremely annoying siren alarm. The only way you can shut off the alarm is to get up at catch the flying little ball and replacing it on top of the alarm; meaning you have no choice but to get out of bed. There’s no rolling over for a quick five minutes snooze that turns into an hour and gets you fired.
